SAN FRANCISCO AND DUBLIN–Stripe, the programmable financial services company, today announced that ElevenLabs, the voice AI platform that has recently crossed 500 million in annual recurring revenue, is expanding its use of Stripe to support its rapid growth. ElevenLabs uses Stripe for payments, subscriptions, global expansion, and its marketplace, and has now adopted Stripe’s usage-based billing to power its new pay-as-you-go plans and evolve its business model.

ElevenLabs chose Stripe Billing early on to launch monetization quickly for its text to speech service used by creators and publishers. As it grew, it used Stripe Billing to scale subscriptions and support enterprise customers using its platform to deploy conversational agents at scale. Now, ElevenLabs is expanding its use of Stripe Billing to evolve its business model and launch usage based pricing. Its customers can purchase credits upfront and draw them down as they use ElevenLabs’ products. With Stripe Billing, ElevenLabs can charge based precisely on the number of AI tokens consumed. This gives developers a flexible way to build, test, and scale, while aligning ElevenLabs’ revenue directly with product usage and the underlying cost of running AI models.

ElevenLabs’ CEO and cofounder Mati Staniszewski said: "As ElevenLabs becomes the infrastructure for the world's largest companies, our business model has to keep pace. Pay-as-you-go pricing lets our customers scale from prototype to production with predictable usage-based pricing. Stripe's billing infrastructure makes that possible, and gives us the flexibility to evolve how we monetize as our platform expands."

Beyond Billing, ElevenLabs uses Stripe’s broader revenue suite to manage the revenue cycle end to end. That includes Stripe Invoicing for flexible billing terms, Stripe Tax to automate global tax calculation and collection, Stripe Sigma to analyze revenue performance, and Stripe Revenue Recognition to handle accrual accounting. Together, Stripe’s revenue suite supports the full spectrum of ElevenLabs’ monetization needs, from subscriptions to usage-based billing, across both product-led and sales-led go-to-market motions.

ElevenLabs is also making Stripe’s functionality available directly to its own customers. Companies using ElevenLabs can build voice agents that handle real-time conversations, from customer support to completing purchases. Through its integration with Stripe, those agents can securely interact with Stripe to process payments and issue refunds. This helps ElevenLabs’ customers move faster from experimentation to live, revenue-generating voice agents.

“ElevenLabs is a category-defining voice AI company. Stripe has been proud to support their explosive growth from the early days, and we’re excited to expand our partnership as they use Stripe Billing to launch usage-based plans built around actual customer usage,” said Emily Sands, head of data and AI at Stripe.

ElevenLabs operates a global marketplace that lets voice actors license their voices for commercial projects and get paid when developers and companies use them. Stripe Connect handles onboarding, payouts, and compliance across regions, so ElevenLabs can focus on product development and international expansion of its marketplace. Stripe also powers global payments for ElevenLabs, supporting cards, bank transfers, and local payment methods including UPI in India, along with Link, Stripe’s consumer wallet for faster checkout. Radar for Fraud Teams helps manage fraud controls and risk performance directly from the Stripe Dashboard.

Stripe is building the economic infrastructure for AI. That includes partnering with the most ambitious AI companies and being their growth partner by providing the most reliable and fastest-improving financial infrastructure.
