SAN FRANCISCO AND DUBLIN—Stripe, the programmable financial services company, today announced that Gamma, an AI powered platform used by 70 million users to create presentations, is building its business on Stripe as it scales rapidly worldwide.

Gamma crossed $100 million annual recurring revenue profitably, relying on Stripe Checkout, a prebuilt checkout page, to collect subscription sign-ups and global payments. Checkout reduces friction and maximizes conversion by supporting more than 30 languages and using AI to dynamically present the right payment methods to Gamma’s customers. This allows Gamma to focus on building its product while monetizing quickly across markets, without building any financial infrastructure in-house.

With most of its revenue coming from outside the United States, Gamma uses Stripe to accept local payment methods, including UPI in India and SEPA Debit in Europe, alongside cards. Stripe’s Adaptive Pricing automatically displays prices in local currencies at checkout, providing a localized payment experience for customers. Link, Stripe’s consumer wallet, now powers more than 40% of Gamma’s payment volume, enabling faster checkout for its customers.

Gamma also uses Stripe Billing to manage subscriptions for individuals and businesses. As Gamma has expanded beyond self-serve subscriptions into larger business deals, it has started using Stripe Invoicing to support a sales-led motion with custom contracts and flexible payment terms. Stripe is helping Gamma evolve its business model as it moves upmarket.
